why are you troubled about?

	So I say to you, Take no thought for your life, about food or drink, or about clothing for your body. Is not life more than food, and the body more than its clothing?
		See the birds of heaven; they do not put seeds in the earth, they do not get in grain, or put it in store-houses; and your Father in heaven gives them food. Are you not of much more value than they?
		And which of you by taking thought is able to make himself a cubit taller?
		And why are you troubled about clothing? See the flowers of the field, how they come up; they do no work, they make no thread:
		But I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these.
		But if God gives such clothing to the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is put into the oven, will he not much more give you clothing, O you of little faith?
		Then do not be full of care, saying, What are we to have for food or drink? or, With what may we be clothed?
		Because the Gentiles go in search of all these things: for your Father in heaven has knowledge that you have need of all these things:
		But let your first care be for his kingdom and his righteousness; and all these other things will be given to you in addition.
		Then have no care for tomorrow: tomorrow will take care of itself. Take the trouble of the day as it comes. Matthew 6:25-34

አትጨነቁ

ወደ ሰማይ ወፎች ተመልከቱ፤ አይዘሩም አያጭዱምም በጎተራም አይከቱም፥ የሰማዩ አባታችሁም ይመግባቸዋል፤ እናንተ ከእነርሱ እጅግ አትበልጡምን? ከእናንተ ተጨንቆ በቁመቱ ላይ አንድ ክንድ መጨመር የሚችል ማን ነው? ስለ ልብስስ ስለ ምን ትጨነቃላችሁ? የሜዳ አበቦች እንዴት እንዲያድጉ ልብ አድርጋችሁ ተመልከቱ፤

አይደክሙም አይፈትሉምም፤ ነገር ግን እላችኋለሁ፥ ሰሎሞንስ እንኳ በክብሩ ሁሉ ከነዚህ እንደ አንዱ አልለበሰም።እግዚአብሔር ግን ዛሬ ያለውን ነገም ወደ እቶን የሚጣለውን የሜዳን ሣር እንዲህ የሚያለብሰው ከሆነ፥ እናንተ እምነት የጎደላችሁ፥ እናንተንማ ይልቁን እንዴት? እንግዲህ። ምን እንበላለን? ምንስ እንጠጣለን? ምንስ እንለብሳለን? ብላችሁ አትጨነቁ፤ይህንስ ሁሉ አሕዛብ ይፈልጋሉ፤ ይህ ሁሉ እንዲያስፈልጋችሁ የሰማዩ አባታችሁ ያውቃልና።ነገር ግን አስቀድማችሁ የእግዚአብሔርን መንግሥት ጽድቁንም ፈልጉ፥ ይህም ሁሉ ይጨመርላችኋል።ነገ ለራሱ ይጨነቃልና ለነገ አትጨነቁ፤ ለቀኑ ክፋቱ ይበቃዋል። የማቴዎስ ወንጌል 6: 25-34

Jesus Calms the Storm

That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

Jésus calme la tempête

Et laissant les troupes, ils l'emmenèrent [avec eux], lui étant déjà dans la nacelle; et il y avait aussi d'autres petites nacelles avec lui.Et il se leva un si grand tourbillon de vent, que les vagues se jetaient dans la nacelle, de sorte qu'elle s’emplissait déjà. Or il était à la poupe, dormant sur un oreiller; et ils le réveillèrent, et lui dirent : Maître, ne te soucies-tu point que nous périssions? Mais lui étant réveillé, tança le vent, et dit à la mer : tais-toi, sois tranquille; et le vent cessa, et il se fit un grand calme. Puis il leur dit : pourquoi êtes-vous ainsi craintifs? comment n'avez-vous point de foi? Et ils furent saisis d'une grande crainte, et ils se disaient l'un à l'autre : mais qui est celui-ci, que le vent même et la mer lui obéissent?

Jesús calma la tormenta

Y enviando la multitud, le tomaron como estaba en el barco; y había también con él otros barquitos. Y se levantó una grande tempestad de viento, y echaba las olas en el barco, de tal manera que ya se llenaba. El estaba en la popa, durmiendo sobre un cabezal, y le despertaron, y le dijeron: ¿Maestro, no tienes cuidado que perecemos? Y levantándose, increpó al viento, y dijo al mar: Calla, enmudece. Y cesó el viento, y fue hecha grande bonanza. Y a ellos dijo: ¿Por qué estáis así amedrentados? ¿Cómo no tenéis fe? Y temieron con gran temor, y decían el uno al otro. ¿Quién es éste, que aun el viento y el mar le obedecen? marcos 4:36-41

ሕዝቡንም ትተው በታንኳ እንዲያው ወሰዱት፥ ሌሎች ታንኳዎችም ከእርሱ ጋር ነበሩ።

ብርቱ ዐውሎ ነፋስም ተነሣና ውኃ በታንኳይቱ እስኪሞላ ድረስ ማዕበሉ በታንኳይቱ ይገባ ነበር።

እርሱም በስተኋላዋ ትራስ ተንተርሶ ተኝቶ ነበር፤ አንቅተውም። መምህር ሆይ፥ ስንጠፋ አይገድህምን? አሉት።

ነቅቶም ነፋሱን ገሠጸው ባሕሩንም። ዝም በል፥ ፀጥ በል አለው። ነፋሱም ተወ ታላቅ ፀጥታም ሆነ።

እንዲህ የምትፈሩ ስለ ምን ነው? እንዴትስ እምነት የላችሁም? አላቸው።እጅግም ፈሩና። እንግዲህ ነፋስም ባሕርም የሚታዘዙለት ይህ ማን ነው? ተባባሉ።
